The Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations, held in London’s Hyde Park from May 1 to October 15, 1851, was a milestone in the history of the Industrial Revolution. The main organizers of the World Exhibition of 1851 were Sir Henry Cole, British statesman and inventor, and Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria.
