The invention of first car fueled by hydrogen in 1807

In 1807, François Isaac de Rivaz designed the first car powered by an internal combustion engine fueled by hydrogen. He designed the first 4-wheel prototype that ran on hydrogen and oxygen gas and this was a very unsuccessful design.

Half a century later in 1860, Frenchman Etienne Lenoir developed the 3-wheel Hippomobile.
