The first fatal Airplane crash in 1908

Orville and Wilbur Wright in 1903 made their famous flight at Kitty Hawk, but after five years, in 1908 they also made their first fatal Airplane crash in the World.

In the plane was also Lieutenant Thomas Etholen Selfridge, who was an army observer and died from his internal injuries and fractured skull within three hours of the accident. Wright was hospitalized with a fractured thigh and several broken ribs.
