They were the main actors in Mexico beginning of the 20th century. That Mexican gang leaders are the “gray eminence” of one of the bloodiest civil wars in the history of mankind. See for yourself, for the period from 1910 to 1917 in Mexico have died from 300,000 to 2 million people (different data). And this despite the fact that the population was at the time of the order of 15 million people.
Francisco Madero remained president of Mexico slightly over a year, until he was overthrown by Huerta supporters, then he was shot.
Despite the “clean” Cisco biography, he was associated with the main thugs country. Important role in this regard has played his brother Raul (center with a cigar), a former general.
Pancho Villa (in the right) and Rodolfo Fierro “Butcher” (in the left). Pancho was in fact the ruler of the north, and the “Butcher” was his right hand and did the dirty work. Later, Villa by himself ordered to kill Rodolfo .
Pancho Villa was the commander of the North Army in the Civil War.
Maximo Castillo (in the center with a feather in his hat) collaborated with Pancho Viley not for long, then split from the rebels and had to escape to the United States, due to the fact that Pancho declared him wanted for the exploding of the train, which was organized by himself.
In the US prison Maximo (first left behind the fence) felt wonderful. After all, he was not a criminal for the US, and giving him to Mexicans was impossible due to the bad relations between this countries.
Emiliano Zapata (that sits in center) was one of the three main participants in revolution against the dictatorship along with Madero and Viley. After becoming Madero was unhappy with the lack of the promised land reform and began to fight against their former colleagues.
Was killed because of his betrayal of the guardsmen. Before his death, said the catch phrase: “It is better to die standing on your feet than live on your knees.”
At the end a little unknown colorful characters and a demonstration of the sad fate of most criminals.
