Massive figures from people of the early 20th century
This project was implemented during the First World War and was intended to raise the fighting spirit of Americans. The authors of the project were John Thomas and Arthur Mole. In creating these images were involved thousands of ordinary Americans. For example, in the creation of the Statue of Liberty 18 thousand people took part.
The photographer John Thomas didn’t took the money from the sale of photographs and all the money he listed to the families of the soldiers who did not return from the war.
