German uniform during the World War I. Part 2

Until 1910, each German state had its own particular uniform color, variety of badges, armbands and helmet plates. In 1910, the entire German army adopted the Feldgrau uniform. Later, the outbreak of World War I forced the German army to simplify the field uniform.
