German submarine U-175

German submarine U-175 was a Nazi Germany’s Kriegsmarine type IXC U-boat. It was laid down at Bremen on 30 January 1941. During World War II this boat participated in three war patrols and sank 10 merchant ships. It was sunk by the US Coast Guard cutter Spencer on 17 April 1943.
