Cyclone Mahina, the deadliest cyclone in Australian history, 1889

Cyclone Mahina ┬áis on the list of 19th century’s biggest disasters too. It was the deadliest cyclone in recorded Australian history.

This disaster happened on 4 March, 1889 in Bathurst Bay, Cape York and with its winds and storm killed more than 300 people.
