Cyclone Mahina, the deadliest cyclone in Australian history, 1889

Cyclone Mahina  is on the list of 19th century’s biggest disasters too. It was the deadliest cyclone in recorded Australian history.

This disaster happened on 4 March, 1889 in Bathurst Bay, Cape York and with its winds and storm killed more than 300 people.
