Bessemer’s steamboat

Sir Henry Bessemer was a businessman and often traveled to Europe. Everything would be fine, but at the end of the 19th century, to get from England to the continent he could only go by steamboat. There was one problem: Bessemer got seasick.
In December 1869, tortured by seasickness, Sir Bessemer patented a steady ship.
