Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki preparation

During the final stage of the Second World War, in August 1945, the United States dropped two atomic bombs on the Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This act killed over 129.000 people, and many more had to suffer the after bombing effects.
